The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry Europe (SETAC Europe) invites you to join the 7th SETAC Europe Special Science Symposium to be held 2 - 3 October 2013 at the Marivaux Hotel, Brussels, Belgium:
Fate and ecotoxicity of nanoparticles in the environment – current status and the way forward
The scope of this symposium is to bring together different stakeholders to discuss current and future research needs, addressing the potential of ENPs and ENMs to bioaccumulate and to reach concentrations of concern in terms of environmental exposure.
The purpose of this symposium is to exchange up-to-date knowledge of fate and ecotoxicity of nanomaterials in the environment, with special focus on formulating approaches to incorporate this knowledge in environmental risk assessment. The symposium will cover input from scientists, regulators and industry.
